Studio JKL was founded by Jo Kaur Llogarajah to bring together thoughtful interior architecture, enduring design and confident design leadership for homeowners undertaking significant renovations.

Before establishing Studio JKL, Jo spent over 14 years designing high-end residential interiors with some of the UK's most respected design practices, including Taylor Howes, Rigby & Rigby, Kathryn Levitt Design and Hubert Zandberg Interiors. During this time she contributed to award-winning private residences, including the internationally recognised Luxury Villa Escape Lake House, awarded Best Luxury Living Space UK.

Those years shaped more than technical expertise. They reinforced a belief that exceptional homes are never the result of isolated decisions. They are created when architecture, interiors, lighting, joinery, materials and craftsmanship are considered together from the very beginning.

That belief became the foundation of Studio JKL.

Today, the practice partners with homeowners, architects and specialist consultants from the earliest stages of a project, establishing one complete interior vision before critical decisions are fixed. From concept development and interior architecture to technical detailing, materiality and final installation, every stage is approached with the same intention: to create homes that feel calm, timeless and deeply personal.

Studio JKL intentionally takes on a limited number of projects each year, allowing Jo to remain closely involved throughout every stage of the design journey. Every client benefits from direct senior involvement, careful collaboration and the confidence that one person is protecting the complete vision from beginning to end.
